Rainy Day | Carlisle, PA Family Photographer

“Yes, Mom, I would love to put on my rain boots, grab an umbrella and go out and take pictures,” said no teenager ever. Until this one! I was itching to take some rainy shots and convinced my dear daughter that she should come out with me. Thankfully, she had nothing better to do (ha!). What a good sport. Thanks, honey!

Lake Memories | Boiling Springs, PA Senior Portrait Photographer

Could this session have been any better? I nearly made a fool of myself when this beautiful senior showed up in a dress, denim jacket and cowboy boots. Seriously, how lucky am I? And some of her very favorite places were places that I hadn’t visited in a long time and where I had my own special memories from when I was a kid fishing at the lake with my sister and my dad. It was the perfect evening for so many reasons. Best wishes to you, Brittany – you have so much to offer the world and this is just the beginning!

So much fun being one | Carlisle, PA Children’s Photographer

It’s not possible that a whole year has gone by since I took newborn pictures of this handsome guy. No more sleeping while we posed him and clicked away – this one is all boy! He did a great job and wasn’t eager to be confined for too long in any one place. So we got on our hands and knees and followed him around! Those sweet baby toes and yummy rolls. I could just eat him up!

Fun by the half dozen | Newville, PA Children’s Photographer

You know what’s great? Pictures where everyone is smiling and looking at the camera. You know what’s really great? Seeing kids’ personalities in every photo taken. And there was no shortage of personality this day! When a dear friend asked if we could do a session at an old mill still operated by her grandfather, I couldn’t think of a more fitting place. The notion of trying to get everyone to look in the same direction at the same time was quickly abandoned and we just went with it. I absolutely loved looking over the pictures, thinking of each child and seeing their individual personalities in each one. I think we all agreed that the end result was far better than perfect smiles and poses every time. Don’t you agree?
